We have our America!

If you missed me shouting about this on twitter and FB, I just want to let you know that America Singer has been cast for the pilot of The Selection! For all you Friday Night Lights fans, I'm sure you already know Miss Aimee Teegarden. She's absolutely lovely, and I can't wait to see what she does with the role.

Red Tree and Facebook

I’m excited to announce that my agent Elana has started her own boutique literary agency, Red Tree Literary. I’m happy to be with an agent who is so very enthusiastic about the select projects she’s chosen and is keeping things on the small side so we all get personal attention. Very excited!

Also, HarperTeen has created a Facebook page for The Selection. If you go like the page, you can read the first few chapters and enter to win an advance copy of the book! Good luck!

Heading to the Small Screen?

Well, maybe! It was announced today on EW.com, MTV.com, and also by my mother that the CW has picked up The Selection for a pilot! I'm very excited to see where this goes, and I'll keep you updated as soon as anything new pops up about the potential series.

Okay, first up BRAVE NEW LOVE has an offical release date on Amazon of March 6, 2012! Wahoo! Go ahead and pre-order today. Maybe get a scarf while you're at it. Fall is just around the corner... that's all I'm sayin.

Overdue Update

A few weeks ago, I found out that The Selection will be translated in France and Germany! I’m so excited about this and can’t wait to see what happens with my little story overseas. So bonjour and guten tag to all the new readers!

Also, I've seen the cover art, and I have to tell you it's sooooo beautiful! I'm not sure when I'll be able to share, but trust me, it's worth the wait. :)

Two Things:

Okay, so I totally lied about being able to update more, but I have a really good reason! I've been working hard on my new project, THE SELECTION, and finally got a wicked awesome agent to represent it. You can follow both my agent and the team on Twitter. Oh yeah, and I'm finally on twitter, too.

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates, but being a new mom is harder than you'd think! Congrats to Ashley, winner of the I Want Your Name contest for making an awesome video and getting her name into my next bit of fiction.
